3	1834	1834: James Worts died Following the sudden death of James Worts, William Gooderham took over full control of the enterprise
4	1837	3 Nov 1837—1990: Distillery begins Renamed William Gooderham and Company (or William Gooderham, Company) when the distillery is added to the mill and production begins. With the exception of the war years, when acetone and ketone were produced, the distillery is in continuous production until 1990.
