Name Stanley Brown Craig - Charles Urquhart in an email to website admin Gay Gooderham wrote:
"Interesting Stanley used 'Brown' as his second name and not Hunter like his father and as given to his own children - it seems he was 3rd generation 'Brown' to inherit a large house belonging to the Brown family just south of Edinburgh called Newhall, a step up from being just a sheep-farmer. His daughters Deborah and Judith both became farmers. Stanley died relatively young, age 59, the estate was sold in 7 years later in 1945 and his wife does not appear in Scottish BDM or census registers after that date. She may have returned to Canada that year where (from your chart) Currelly desdendants live.

" I think that for Elizabeth, poor woman, not only was her birth certificate corrected later but also we must now assume the minister at her wedding must have written the wrong age - 36 instead of 26 down - and everyone just signed! Only sight of death certificate is left open.
It's not an ordinary church to make a mistake in either, being the High Kirk (most important) for the Church of Scotland In Edinburgh and it seems most Urquharts (including my parents), Geddes and now Craig&Blackstock were married there too.
