  	Some forgotten source showed Moses with the name Louis... Also spelt Masauret for example in 1911 census where wife Ann Mordant is listed here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QV9T-T82S I have a glass paper weight with the name Moses Masuret dated Xmas 1910. I believe Moses was another name for Louis Masuret. Also 1891 census shows Moses Masuret along with Mary Hogan who was Ann Mordants mother along with many of Moses and Ann's children. Administrator PGG According to Patrick Mulkern's obit Moses was a wholesale grocer "I vaguely remember was Dad saying was that one side of Granny's family (Masuret?) were very early immigrants to Virginia or Carolina. 1700's maybe?"   	PGG owns a wedding anniversary tantalus decorated with warriors/crusaders that holds three crystal decanters with stoppers and three stemmed silver cups engraved Nov 10, 1881 to Mr and Mrs Masuret on the occasion of their 25th anniversary. Found this online...possible link to this family as it mentions both Masuret and Mordaunt(sp?): Mary Mordaunt (abt. 1816 - 3rd January 1896), née Hogan, born in Ireland, widow of an Edward Mordaunt, also born in Ireland. She was listed in the 1891 census living with her daughter and a whole clan of Masurets. Annie Mordaunt (1856 - 14th July 1934) who had married Moses Masuret and was living in Ward 6, London, Middlesex, Ontario. Edmond James Masuret (abt. 1872 - ?) who married Ethel Letitia Macdonald in York County, Ontario, 19th July, 1900. Annie Masuret (1st January 1873 - ?).
